dear blog,

i'm embarrassed. it has been a while. i miss you. i miss our quality time and shared stories. the ones about my husband cracking the toilet seat and my dog chewing the new rug. 

by now you may have figured out that i have met someone else. her name is summer. she keeps me busy. i hang out with her in the backyard and we take the dog and husband on long walks every night. we grow veggies together and drink beer. our time together is constant.

but i promise, soon, we will have our quality time again. and i will tell you all my secrets about my new living room rug and mirror, family get togethers and upcoming vacation plans. soon. i swear. just not today.
